Package coding accuracy

Package coding and labelling equipment is a vital, mission-critical element of the packaging production line. All Interactive Coding Equipment is designed for either stand-alone operation or straightforward and seamless integration into the factory IT infrastructure to deliver Peak Performance and error free coding.

A unique master/slave capability available as standard allows multiple ICE printers to be linked together in to a single print system. This feature is ideal where multiple printers are combined for a single application, whether Torus ink jet coders printing on different faces of a cardboard box, or Zodiac solid state coders on multi-head labellers or tray sealing equipment.

Intuitive operation

An intuitive user interface is an essential part of an effective coding system. Coding errors incur punitive costs to recall or rework products and a machine that is difficult to operate will result in unnecessary errors and downtime.

The ICE range of coding equipment all feature the full-colour, touch screen CLARiTY user interface. Advantages include the ability to prepare and preview the next job whilst printing the current image, access to performance and consumable related information and powerful on board diagnostics which are all available without the need to stop the line.

Should a fault occur, the information is presented clearly to the operator along with appropriate instructions on how to clear the fault and resume printing. The common user interface allows operations and maintenance engineers to enjoy the benefits of familiarity. Job selection is simple, rapid and error free.
