Truetype fonts with extra Clarity

All ICE coders are able to print the range of Microsoft TrueType fonts as on a standard Windows PC. This is because all ICE coders use the latest Clarity operating system from Claricom.

With the easy to use, touch screen Clarity system, when a print design is created on a PC using Clarisoft image design software, the printer automatically checks its own memory for the necessary fonts. If any are unavailable, it requests that they are downloaded to the printer. At the same time, the new print image is downloaded into the coder’s local database of print jobs. Once the font is resident in the coder, the PC is no longer required.

The system is activated automatically, so doesn’t need an operator to get involved. Plus the coders offer the flexibility to ensure that any print information can be created using a new font, without requiring a permanent connection to a PC or use of a portable memory device.
