Connecting coders for greater control

Our ‘master – slave’ capability allows multiple coders to be connected together into a single integrated coding system to reduce complexity and lower equipment costs.

Available on all Zodiac and Torus print systems, it can link together models from both ranges in to a cohesive system for coding control across a complete production line.

Up to 16 printers or printheads may be integrated into a common control system, where a single Clarity user interface can be configured as the ‘master’ and used to control all the functions of all the printers within the group. This means that ‘slave’ printers can be purchased without control screens, as all set up and adjustments can be handled from the ‘master’.

This ‘master – slave’ functionality also overcomes problems of printer access if, for example, printheads are mounted on opposite sides of a conveyor or within a guarded area.
